The Vikings just take a knee to end this one. North drops a tough one and now stands at (1-3). With the win West improves to (2-2)

1:30 4th- West picks up the first down. Not looking good for the Indians. You really wonder without the turnovers and loss of Perez, if the Indians could have pulled away in this Second half. Norths defense has played great all night and really shut down the Vikings.

1:37 4th- North defense comes up huge again. West will have an interesting choice to make, it's 4th and 1 from their own 45.

3:15 4th- North cant convert this time on 4th down. Turn over on downs. West takes over at their own 39.

5:07 4th- North converts on a 4th down. Theis hits Conteras for 15 yards. North has it 1st and 10 from the Viking 39.

7:37 4th- North moving the ball, 1st and 10 from their own 48.

10:17 4th- West has the ball 2nd and 12 from their own 33 yard line. Man based on how North has played defensively you really wonder what this game would be like without the two fumbles.

2:18 3rd- West forced to punt, after a touch back the Indians start at their own 20 yard line.

4:18 3rd- West punter Mark Whitrock has another 50+ yard punt. Indians take over at their own 48 yard line.

4:30 3rd- North defense comes up huge, sacks Williams. West has it 3rd and 30 from their own 2 yard line.

5:34 3rd- Indians offense stalls, they go for it on 4th down. A pass from Theis falls incomplete. West takes over at their own 23 yard line.

6:47 3rd- After a 13 yard pass from Theis to Conteras, the Indians have it 1st and 10 from the Viking 16 yard line. Indian offense seems to be doing fine despite the loss of Perez.

9:18 3rd- Theis hits Burrows for an 18 yard pass. North has it 1st and 10 from the Viking 40.

11:01 3rd- North stalls on the opening drive. Forced to punt, West takes over at their own 37. On the Vikings first play, the Indians force a fumble and take over at their own 37.

12:00 3rd- North is back to receive. The Viking kick goes out of bounds, North will take over at their own 35 yard line. North seniors Mitch Paden, and Mason Perez are both on the sidelines out of pads. Paden on crutches, and Perez in a sling. This cant be good for North, as Perez accounts for most of their touchdowns.

Word around the Stadium is Senior standout Mason Perez is at least done for the game, if not longer. Rumor is a collarbone injury.

:12 2nd- After a failed onside kick by North, Tre Burt goes 25 yards. West gets it all the way down the the Indian 9 yard line. Burt failes to get out of bounds, and time runs out.

1:25 2nd- North punter Jesse Patterson fumbles the snap, and falls on it. West takes over at the Indian 31 yard line. Just like the previous two games, Norths special teams continues to hurt them. North so far has beat themselves. Wow! Mason Perez intercepts a pass from Armani Williams and takes it 60 yards. North takes over at the Viking 22. Next play Theis hits Perez for a 22 yard touchdown pass. 27 seconds remain in the half, North has finally found some luck.

2:30 2nd- North moving the ball, but racing against the clock to try and put up some points before half. 2nd and 4 from their own 47.

5:29 2nd- West running back Davis Clum nearly scores, but North forces a fumble and recovers it in the end zone. North takes over at their own 20.

7:11 2nd- North again goes three and out. West has a good return, takes over at the Indian 45.

7:32 2nd- Good defense by both teams. West goes three and out. North takes over at their own 20 yard line.

9:35 2nd- North goes 3 and out. West takes over at the Indian 29 yard line.

11:48 2nd- Wow! West with a 55 yard punt. North takes over at their own 7 yard line.

2:14 1st- Brock Burrows punches it in on a one yard run for the Indians. North showing signs of life, after a horrible start.

5:15 1st- Perez takes the kick 46 yards, Indians start at the West 43 yard line. After several nice runs by the Indians, they have it 2nd and 4 from the Viking 16 yard line.

7:04 1st- Wow! on a carry by Matthew Maynard of North, a Viking popped the ball into the air and it was caught and taken 20 yards by Lee Spight for a touchdown. I have never seen two possesions like this before in my life.

7:18 1st- Sean Dilley of West rips the ball free from North QB Ryan Theis for a 26 yard fumble return for a touchdown.

8:15 1st- Brett Sterbach breaks free for a 34 yard touchdown run.

9:40 1st- Tre Burt again fumbles, covered by the Vikings this time.

10:25 1st- North decides to go for it on 4th down, play is stuffed at the line but there is a flag on the play. Illegal motion on North, turnover on downs. West gets the ball back at their own 39.

11:47 1st- Tre Burt fumbles on his first carry, North recovers at the Vikings 45 yard line.

12:00 1st- West will receive first, back for the Vikings is Tre Burt. Short kick is fielded by Tory Powell, West will start 1st and ten at their own 37.

20 minutes till kick off here at SMSD-North Stadium Beautiful night out for the game, 68 degrees at the stadium with a 6mph North wind.

Both teams are on the field, and doing warm ups. North is in home all black uniforms with the white helmet, and West is in their road whites with black pants and yellow helmets. It's the KMBC News game of the week. Homecoming night for the Indians, both teams coming in with a 1-2 record. West hoping to extend the win streak over the Indians for another season.
