Olathe North @ SM East-SMN Stadium:
Olathe North failed to open the 2012 season with a bang, and currently hold the leagues longest losing streak at 5 games.  SME quarterback Jordan Darling should be able to show off his passing abilities as long as the weather holds off.

SM North @ Olathe South-ODAC
Falcons should roll in a week two match up with bottom feeder SM North coming to town.  Expect South to hang more than 6 points in this one.

Lawrence @ SM Northwest-SMN Stadium
The Cougars shocked the Sunflower League community week 1 with an upset over Olathe North, while Lawrence opened up with a loss to SM West.  Expect a close hard fought game in this one, I think it'll come down to Lawrence having more experience.

SM South @ Leavenworth-Leavenworth
The Pioneers are a legitimate threat this season in the Sunflower League.  Can South running back Gabe Guild lead the Raiders to their first win of the season?  I expect a high scoring contest in this one giving a slight edge to Leavenworth.

Olathe Northwest @ Olathe East-CBAC
Look for the Hawks to rebound in a huge way this week against Northwest.  I expect Hayden Frazier to lead the Hawks to a huge week 2 victory.

Game of the week:
Lawrence Free State @ SM West-SMS Stadium
Expect one heck of a battle in this one with the high powered offense from Free State, and the top notch defense from the Vikings.  This one should be a close contest and come down to the end.  I'm giving SMW the nod in this one because of their red zone defense, and because if you've seen SMW play a home game you realize the home field advantage it brings.
