OCT 26th-In the years leading up to this, SMN and SMS haven't played for much until this night. It was simple for both teams, win and you make the playoffs. SMN was in the lead most of the night, and had a 20-13 lead late in the game with the ball. But the Raider D held and got the ball back. With under a minute to play SMS scored a touchdown to make the game 20-19. The Raiders then gambled and went for the 2pt conversion and the win. With the playoffs on the line, South QB Dustin King scrambled and found a Raider in the back of the endzone to win the game 21-20. The Indians were led by Junior Markell Williams, while the Raiders were led by Dustin King. This wrapped up a District Championship for the Raiders and they went on to get beat in the playoffs by SM. Northwest ending their season at 2-8. The Indians finished the year with a huge amount of disapointment, and went 2-7.
