Great light show by the Indian Marching Band to cap off a huge 69-6 Senior Night win for the Indians.

The win improves North to (2-6) on the season, and (1-1) in Districts. This sets up a huge game next week as North will travel to Leavenworth in a winner moves on to the playoffs game. Congrats to SM Northwest on a District Championship. The light show by the SMN band is about to start, I will continue to post after that is over with other league scores.

Wyandotte falls to (2-6) and (0-2) in Districts officially ending any playoff hopes.

4:37 4th- Indians recover a Wyandotte fumble. 1st and 10 from their own 17.

6:50 4th- Jesse Patterson takes a carry 22 yards for a Indian touchdown.

8:21 4th- North recovers the onside kick, and take over at their own 40. In at quarterback for the Indians is Nick Finazzo.

8:24 4th- Touchdown Wyandotte! Eight yard touchdown pass for the Bulldogs. 2pt conversion is no good.

8:31 4th- Wyandotte gets a big highlight as they block a North punt. Ball bounces all the way down to the Indian 8 where Wyandotte will have it 1st and goal.

1:39 3rd- Another pick six for the Indians. This time Jacob Wilson takes a Wyandotte pass 32 yards for the touchdown.

9:18 2nd- Theis hits Perez for the third time tonight on a screen pass. Perez takes it 34 yards for the touchdown. Extra point is no good.

11:14 2nd- Mitch Paden with two huge runs of (13,14) on the drive. Gives North a first down. 1st and 10 from the Bulldog 41.

11:56 2nd- Wyandotte unable to do anything with the ball. Fail on a fourth down attempt. Indians take over at their own 10.

6:08 1st- Back to back runs by Henry Bell give the Indians great field position. Theis then hits Perez for the second time tonight for 21 yards. Touchdown Indians! Indians go for the 2pt conversion, Ryan Theis runs it in for the score.

Last time SMN/Wyandotte met was just last season in District play. The Indians won 42-0 in that match up, but as a whole it's an old rivalry that dates back to the 1920's. Tonight's match up between the Bulldogs and Indians shouldn't be a close one. North should come out motivated in a must win game on senior night. With SM Northwest beating Leavenworth last night 24-22, a North win tonight would clinch a district championship for the Cougars, and make next weeks game at Leavenworth a fight for a playoff birth. A Wyandotte win tonight would really shakeup the district. North would still have a shot at the playoffs, but it would all come down to points in the end.


My prediction for tonight- Wyandotte 7 SM North 42
